The church was organized on May 1, 1915 and named Liberty Baptist Church.  In conference on August 2, 1925 the name was changed to Ebenezer Baptist Church.

 
 

On May 5, 1974 the congregation met to dedicate the new Educational Building and Social Hall to the service of the Lord, and for the promotion of Christian love.
